Happy Halloween to my hubby… ;)

I went to the photo studio again, this time to capture an image that would display my eyes. While trying to find something to wear, I decided to go with a Halloween theme, since my newest set is Halloween Pack I. Lo and behold, stumbling across this old outfit.. Let’s make it sexy! And so, I dedicated these photos to my boyfriend/partner in crime instead of doing the eye shot… though the last one is a good one of Zombie. <3

Since we’re doing welcomes…

I am a creator on Secondlife. I own >>>TechnoLATI<<< and currently make high quality realistic eyes for everyday avatars to hardcore RP goers. I already have several lines out right now: Electric, Elements, Machina, Specialty eyes. Since this is my blog, I can break it down for ya. :D

Electric eyes are inspired kinda from TRON by Disney. There are four 1/4 circles just outside the pupil that help make up the iris and they come in an assortment of different colors; red, yellow, green, orange, blue, purple, and pink.

Elements are inspired by… what else? Elements! It’s a big debate for some people, but I’ve added in a fifth element. ;) Air (light bluish), Earth (rustic green), Fire (reddish orange), Water (deep blue) and Energy (purple).

Machina, the latin word for machines, is inspired by the term itself and designed with androids and robots in mind. Resembling clockwork and gadgets of the future, they circle one another in a spiral design and come in colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, teal, purple, and pink.

Specialty eyes are colors that circulate around the term “color.” Because our own eyes almost always produce more than just one color, Specialty eyes push the boundary of two colors and we get a broad spectrum of different ideas. Now these you’ll just have to see for your own eyes to get what I’m saying.

I am who I am

Okay, so my name is Mai Soke on SecondLife and I like the weird and obscure. I LOVE things pertaining to the future, like cyberwear and other technologic things. I’m impatient, sometimes a little too impatient (like the time when I was trying to rent- YIKES!), which is good for you because I don’t just make one thing at a time. What I make comes out in (mostly) large quantities based around category. After that, if there’s a specific something that I didn’t make, I will most certainly make it for you. Did I miss anything?? Favorite food is sushi, I like books, I make chainmaille, I attend a college…. I think you get the point.

What is chromoflux and what does it all mean?!

This is, I suppose, a formal introduction to my blog (without the cutesy crap)! Chromo is the variant of the term ‘color’ and is often referred to in the profession known as Chromotherapy, which as you may have guessed, therapy by the use of color. Flux is a term for continuous change or flow.

So and therefore, we have chromoflux!!! :P

Color is something that is always changing, always moving, from one to the next. And I’m not talking about pwetty wainbows. I’m talking about something seen yet unseen, something we don’t take the time to really look at. Like what color the fallen leaves are, what color our skin is, or what the REAL color of our eyes are, which is never just one color. The more we look around, the more color we see!
